The American Lamalese Association of North America is dedicated to

• protecting the health and well-being of the American Lamalese breed.
• promoting the quality breeding of American Lamalese dogs.
• promoting ethical breeding standards with particular commitment to guarding against the propagation of inheritable genetic diseases.
• promoting adherence to the official breed standard.
• protecting and enhancing the interest of the breed.
• encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows and obedience trials.
• promoting responsible pet ownership.

The American Lamalese Association of North America's membership includes pet owners, exhibitors, breeders and fanciers who are enthusiastic about their breed, and who represent the show, breeding, and companion aspects of the breed and fancy, and who support the objectives of the Association's constitution.

Our mentoring programs are designed to provide appropriate help and support for first-time breeders, and encourage those who want to show their American Lamalese by educating them to the purpose of conformation competition and the importance of proper training.

As a small but dedicated group, we look forward to learning through our ambassador-ship and bringing with us a sense of enjoyment and adventure to the show ring as we introduce our dogs around the country.
